Overview

  • Brevard Public Schools contracts with the Brevard County Sheriff's Office to run the Office of District and 50¶È»ÒSecurity.  Our partnership is a commitment to creating and maintaining a safe, secure, and productive learning environment for all Brevard Public Schools students, staff, and visitors. Our team provides customer service to 84 public schools, 3 alternative schools, 12 charter schools and is the liaison between the District and all law enforcement agencies in Brevard County. The Office of District and 50¶È»ÒSecurity conducts Level II background screenings as mandated by , to include the electronic fingerprinting and processing of all current employees, new hires, and all volunteers in Brevard County Public Schools. 

    The Office of District and 50¶È»ÒSecurity also works to capture the fingerprints of all contractors working on Brevard Public Schools property as mandated in the Jessica Lunsford Act - . Additionally, Sheriff's Office supervision assigned to the Office of District and 50¶È»ÒSecurity oversees the school resource officer program, guardian/specialist program and ensures compliance with the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High 50¶È»ÒPublic Safety Act.

    Fingerprinting:    Monday - Friday  8:00am to 4pm

    Badging:     Monday -  Friday 8:00am to 4:15pm
