Brevard Public Schools Celebrates Public Schools Week 2024
Brevard Public Schools is joining with the Learning First Alliance and partners nationwide to celebrate educators, students, and school communities during Public Schools Week 2024.
This year’s week of events takes place from February 26 to March 1, 2024. Throughout the week, families, educators, and community members are encouraged to highlight the amazing things happening in their local public schools while expressing their support and advocacy for public education and all the benefits it provides children and families alike.
Public Schools Week 2024 is part of the #HerefortheKids campaign, an effort to bring together families, educators, and community members to shine a light on local public schools and tell the stories of the amazingly positive things happening in classrooms and school buildings nationwide.
Those celebrating Public Schools Week are encouraged to reach out to a teacher or school staff member to thank them for their work, share success stories and other positive updates about local schools on social media, and showcase educators, initiatives, partnership, and programs that are making a difference for kids. Advocates can also speak with their local and state elected officials and ask them to support fair funding for public education.
